Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh Selected as Chair of the Board of Trustees of the Palestinian National School Orchestra Launching First Performance of "Talal Ibn Adiba" at the Abu-Ghazaleh Knowledge Forum Amman - Under the patronage of His Excellency, the former Palestinian Minister of Higher Education Dr. Sabri Saidam, and in the presence of Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh, the first performance of the play " Talal Ibn Adeebeah" was launched at Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Knowledge Forum. The cast of the play were Palestinian students who especially came from Nablus, Palestine, to present the show, which comes within the framework of the Palestinian cultural activities in the Jordanian capital, Amman. The story of " Talal Ibn Adeebeah" which is directed to children, and which is based on an indirect impersonation of the Palestinian cause, depicts the life story of Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh through illustrating the details of the suffering encountered by the displaced Palestinians and how they overcame pain and hard times through knowledge, determination, patience and holding onto the causes of happiness. On the sideline of the play, and during a meeting attended by Minister Saidam, Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh and a number of representatives of the Palestinian Ministry of Higher Education, Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh thanked the Director of Student Activities at the Ministry, Mr. Sadek Al- Khadour, for taking the initiative to adapt the story into a theatrical performance which will be presented in different Palestinian cities including Jaffa, the hometown of Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh, the city of Acre, Nazareth and Haifa. Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh expressed his pride that the State of Palestine was declared to have the lowest illiteracy rate in the world in the age group of 6-24 years.
